What’s it like to be so stupid…? does it hurt?

Individuality is not the sole property of the U.S. and isn’t it a shame that anything that has value is automatically claimed by the Americans as their sole property and monopoly?

I have lived in China for 6 months twice and sure there is censorship of certain politically unpalatable subjects to the government but everything else is open slather even the much loved western vice of portnoy pursuits. Tell you what, despite all the criticisms of the west and that’s because these critics are either jealous or think that China is their fairy godmother when she does not do their bidding, it is a damn good place to live in. These are some of the things which I liked about living there and not quite a few westerners and too many Americans as well do the same are:-

1. The streets are safe. Lone women who work at night can walk home in the wee hours of the morning without fear of rape, assault or murder. Try this in any big western cities you care to name including the big Apple.
2. Living is dirt cheap when we use our money there. Hear how westerners are groaning under the heavy imposts of increasing government and city hall charges in their own countries.
3. People are friendly and welcoming. Check out the crowd in your own city sometimes and have a good look at their faces.
4. Transport is dirt cheap. For the equivalent of US0.12, one can travel from one end of the city to the next in modern, safe, air-conditioned buses. Next time you hop onto a train or bus in your city check how much you are paying if it hasn’t increased again.
5. Food is cheap and fresh and mostly organically grown and sold by the producers themselves and produced without poisonous sprays. Look into the way your food is produced, prepared and marketed.
6. There is no gigantic prison system here to hold people who break the US invented “Three strike, you’re Out” rule. In the US, the prison is the growth industry.
7. There is no racial discrimination. I have seen many black people from Africa and all over the world who walks the streets of large cities like Guangzhou and bargain like the best of Chinese and no-one ever say look and say “those black bastards.” Can you say the same for your blacks back home?
8. TCM Traditional Chinese Medicine is without peer, cheap and effective. Before going to China, I suffered pain in my right shoulder which become very painful when moved and my western trained doctor told me that I must put up with it as there is no cure as it is an old age disease. Well, through acupuncture, injections and radical manipulation, my shoulder is now as good as new and what’s more, I can even practise martial arts with it. Try that with your scientific medical care.

I can go on and on, my friend but that is not to say that China do not have faults. Name me any other country with less faults and I can enumerate China’s virtues.

BTW, on one of the other posts, one yank said that if the Americans did not come to the aid of China in WW2, China would not make it. Wrong! On the other hand, if China did not resist and fight the Japs, they would have taken America long before that day of Infamy as the Yanks call it.

Yes, America did give much material aid to the Chinese but all of it went to Chiang Kai Shek who used all of it to fight the communists instead of the Japanese invaders. The Americans knew this and have their eyes wide open but did nothing because their fear and loathing of the Reds exceeded those of the Japs.

When I was young, I thought the much publicized, “FlyingTigers” were a great airforce but as history recorded it, it was just a flying mouse organisation with the Jap Zeros besting them 20 to 1.

No, the world should not be brother in arms. There are no enemies except those the Americans have killed and alienated and whose countries they have destroyed. Consider this, the Americans, those who are war-mongers, that is, for not all Americans should be tarred with the same brush, think they have a God given right to go an invade, pillage, kill and destroy any country on earth but when some one wreak vengeance back on them in no matter how small a way, they are “terrorists”. Americans are very adept at name calling and condoning its own war criminal activities.
Yes, the world should be all brothers and sisters in peace!

The world should not have to fear the US. The world should not have to fear anybody. We should all be able to walk the earth without having to look over our shoulders or up at the sky wondering when a US made missile is about to snuff out our lives. No-one has the right to take other’s lives.

Respect, my friend is something which must be earned. It cannot be imposed. When America deserve respect, I can guarantee it will come to her.

If you think that Mid-Easterners are afraid of you; you must be living under a rock. If anything the Americans are dead scared of the Mid-Easteners because they are braver than you think and smart.

Are you proud of your invasion of proud and independent Iraq? Your country went in with overwhelming modern and deadly weapons to kill, pillage, rape and destroy her on a lie and you are proud of that? What kind of mindset do you have? And you call yourself Christian? Of course, I forgot that your President Bush claimed that he has a mandate from God to go and invade Iraq. You have destroyed and devastated that country and killed more people than Saddam Hussein and you are damn proud of that?

Look what you have done to the world. You have increased climate pollution and caused a flood of Iraqi refugees which the whole world is now saddled with and your country deny responsibility. Great work, my friend but don’t cry when some Iraqi do some harm to your country in future years. Only tragedy is, some other innocent Americans may suffer. Your own words have condemned you.
