The phrase of the day today folks is this: Force Multiplier.

As defined by Wikipedia:

A force multiplier is a term referring to a factor that dramatically increases (hence “multiplies”) the effectiveness of a group or unit. The term was originally used by the military to describe elite units, such as Special Forces, that could be used to increase the effectiveness of indigenous forces by training them to fight guerilla warfare, but the term has broadened in usage and is now used frequently outside the military domain.

This video is probably one of the coolest ones I’ve seen yet. Of course there will always be more for me to show you, but let me take a second to analyze just how bad ass this particular video is. This video depicts the final moments of around 30 insurgents during the battle of Fallujah. In Fallujah, US troops saw some of the most intense urban combat of the Iraq War. During intense fighting, small groups of soldiers would be out-manned by the insurgents, but it usually didn’t matter. As seen here, it takes only 2 people and the technology of the American military to neutralize a roughly 20 person threat.
