We would all be the wiser to respect such a wise and formidable power as China. Indeed, I scarcely see the reason you would even use such language to belittle her as you have done in your remarks to each other. The Chinese understand the art of war (indeed, they wrote it)far better than you obviously think, or you would be more careful as to your behavior. They are not a spoiled people as most Americans now are, and have long ago proven to be capable of a greater depth of consciousness than the western mind. But I know too, that you will only read these words and belittle them as you have done each other’s.
